#28days Round Two

Today starts round two of #28days. This time we’re aiming to eat healthier. The idea is to pick 5 ingredients/additives that you will be eliminating from your diet for 28 straight days.

Mine are:

  1. High Fructose Corn Sugar (HFCS)
  2. Aspartame/Caffeine
  3. Enriched flour, white flour, or wheat flour
  4. Sodium Nitrate/Nitrate
  5. Hydrogenated (or partially hydrogenated) oils / trans fat

These five are killers for me. I’ll admit number 2, Aspartame, is one that will be the hardest for me to overcome. That’s because I love Diet Coke. And Diet Coke has two ingredients that I am trying to kick, Caffeine and Aspartame.

I’ve been making life changes the past few weeks, seems like the right time to be specific about changing some of the things I eat. I’m sure my Wife will be happy.
